PERSONALIZED  DOG TRAINING IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME

BEHAVIOR TRAINING

Does your dog need help with a behavioural issue, like anxiety or aggression? Behaviour Training with Solutions Top Dog Training may be a great option for you. As with all my training programs, the sessions are done in your home where the issues actually take place. I work with you and your dog and provide personalized plans to fit your pet’s needs and your lifestyle.

You can start by scheduling a free consultation. I will come meet you and your dog and hear what issues you are having. I will try to get a look at your dog "in action", which will really help us set out a plan. At the end of the consultation, I will suggest a training plan. The number of sessions will depend on the behavioral issue but with the right commitment, my clients often see desired results with 5 or 6 sessions. If interested in the plan, we will schedule our first session whenever you're ready! 

Once we are set to begin, you can expect me to show up at the scheduled time, ready to start helping you help your dog. I will demonstrate techniques that will assist you in managing and eliminating whatever issue your dog is dealing with. But be prepared to take over early on! Ideally, I want you to feel confident managing the behavior, which means getting in your hands-on practice with my guidance.    

PUPPY TRAINING

Puppy training involves an intimate understanding of your dog’s natural and individual history. Your pup has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. I combine your needs with the natural attributes of your pet and help ensure your relationship gets off to a good start.

BASE 1 OBEDIENCE TRAINING

If your pet hasn’t quite mastered basic commands like sit, lay down and heel, or tends to bark or jump up on your guests, BASE 1 OBEDIENCE with Solutions Top Dog Training may be right for you. These sessions will focus on getting your pet to listen to basic commands with distractions, including staying and coming when you call – both behaviors that will help you keep your pet safe and you in control.

BASE 2 OBEDIENCE TRAINING

Once your pup masters this program, consider ramping things up with my BASE 2 OBEDIENCE. This is a great program for owners who take their dogs on outdoor adventures, or frequent busy streets, parks and places. We will work to make sure your pet listens no matter the distraction and can do so off leash and from a distance.

CUSTOMIZED TRAINING

All of Solutions Top Dog Training programs are offered privately and designed to meet individual needs. If you don’t see a program above that quite fits your needs, let’s see if we can come up with something. Contact me to discuss your dog and their issue. I can suggest a targeted program that will address the issue and fit with your dog’s needs.

DOG WALKING

Many pet owners wish they could give their dogs a bit more exercise, recognizing the benefits of a regular and fun exercise routine. But we just don't always have the time! That's why I offer regular dog walking services.

You can rest assured that your dog will get the added exercise they need without being allowed to engage in any unwanted behaviour like pulling, chasing squirrels or picking things up on the walk.

Whether you have trained your pup with Solutions Top Dog Training or not, I can help you with keep your dog happy and healthy.

All walks are one hour long and must be scheduled  on a weekly basis (two or more walks per week).
